The recommended viewing resolution is 800x600 environment or larger. Best viewed with your eyes. *L I love that saying... Your browser choice is your deal and I try to be browser indepent and don't use coding that is only viewable in one like N or IE. But you should have a 4x browser or higher to have the technologies listed below.

These pages look the same in 800x600 resolution and larger( extra area is filled with background, pages do not resize to fill the client area). These pages use Layers, CSS, Java and Javascript. Your browser must have these technologies and have them enabled to properly view this site.

font=font-family: Arial; font-size: 9pt

the purpose of this site

The original purpose of this site was to have a way to access my person stuff from any computer. The problem being i'd need a URL or a file and couldn't get a hold of it off of a friends computer. It started out as just a place for me and wasn't listed with search engines or nothing like that. Even made it were only i could acess the site. But then i wanted to put up more stuff and decided to make it, some of it , public. The great thing is that my favorites file on my computer has gotten (quite abit)smaller because of this site. love that part of it. Now I have more stuff that anybody can access than i do restricted access content. :-)

guidelines for my site

All pages should load in your browser in 55 or less seconds with a 28.8bps connection, or less it is a page just loading a picture. Large pictures loading in there own page.

see stats2 for more detailed information on loading times/files sizes and things of that nature. see stats for more stats info.

This won't rely on technologies that most people aren't able to benefit from.

These pages use Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) I really like this technology, becuase they speed up the loading time of pages. Netscape has promised that version 5 of there browser will fully comply. IE5 doesn't fully comply, but is very close.

I love and i hate CSS in that it's great, but it hasn't grown up yet. It still has flaws, with CSS2. But promises to be great.

I've used these tools to create these pages:

Dreamweaver 2

Notepad

Photo shop 5 pro

Fireworks2

tools i hate...

Dreamweaver 2, when it comes to keep the page at a fixed size. (like so that it's doesn't exceed 800x600, it loves to change my table sizes).

Front pages express v2.0,

Netscape's html editor (can't remember it's name offhand. Show's how long it's been since i used Netscape),

Hotdog 4.0

Cutehtml 1.0

terminal ftp programs
