my music page...

well, this page isn't much, not much at all! But if your enterested in playing guitar;

Dansm's Home Pageis a really great guitar only page. help with scales, playing styles, name it it's here. Great site.

Harmony Central is the biggest and best music resource on the web. They have anything your grubby little fingers want, well not everything *s we know how you are. They run the OLGA, which is the largest collection of tab for guitar. OLGA is currently under fire by law suits from several companies claiming that the tab is illegal because it's a reproduction of copy righted works.

Due to threats of legal action from the Harry Fox Agency, the OLGA has closed down and is no longer offering updates to the archive.(not just due to threats they are currently being suied) For complete details on what has happened, please visit the OLGA home page at www.olga.net. If you want to make sure the OLGA does not die, visit the Keep OLGA Alive web site for things you can do to help.

musiciansfriend.com is the world's largest direct mail music gear company. Do yourself a favor; go to their site fill out the get a free catalog form. It takes 2 minutes of your time, but it's worth it. Example of the savings: I was looking to get a US Standard Strat which fender's suggest USRP (united states suggested retail) is $400. I went down to a couple local music store's and they had it for $400. But Musican's friend sell's it for $279.

sidenote: If your new to buying musical instruments then you'll be happy about going to harmony-central. why? they have a gear review section, which is reviews by people who have bought that product. So you get others feeling on the product before you go out and buy it. Also music shops will sell you anything in there store for the price tag on the product. What you don't know is they'll drop the price in a heart beat if you just play with them. Tell the sells man that your just pricing several models at differnt shops. They'll do 1 of 3 things:
a: "I'll beat any price they throw at you" or

b: "I'll match any price they throw at you" or

c: say goodbye

more than likely they'll say they'll match the price, but they'll even beat it if you play with them. Just give them a follow up call in a day or so. Tell them another store has it for X amount and if they'll beat that price. If they do call the other store and tell them store A beat there price and do they want to match or beat it.

<g> have fun
