ICQ has offically released this build for public consumption so you can find it at download.com now.

The below sites have the 1700 build and eariler builds if you want them. They usually have the new builds on there sites within three days of it being released or earlier.

some early releases of icq99 were infected with several virus's, i'm sure some of the copies of the 1700 build series is too. But the files at the above listed sites are clean of virus's. enjoy. Now, that icq has offically released icq99a, just to be safe, you should donwload it from a secure/ safe site like download.com. That way you know you won't get any unexpected virus's in it. I've left the other links for people who would like to get previous builds.
