Here is my computers section. This page should stay little and uncluttered because I'm just listing links to computer, software, hardware manufactures and retail saliers of these products and wholesalers and listing services. With that said. Here they are. First up is the Computer manufactors. Gateway computers. Are hands down the premier computer company. They provide high quality computers that just don't have internal devices conflicts like Packard Bell's. Gateway also has started recently started selling components seperately. So weather you already have a Gateway or not you can install quality Gateway components in your computer. One of the great thinks about Gateway components is that they maybe enhanced from regular condition to provide better performance. The Drawback of buying a Gateway computer is they are premier computer, so they also are some of the priciest. Dell computers. In my book come in a close second. Dell offers the same custom ability that you can get with gateway and they are usually cheaper than gateway on similar models. I havn't heard any horror stories form anybody that's bought a Dell computer. All I've heard is praise. Compaq computers. Put itself as the leader in computer sales recently. This was due them offering low-end computers at a price that people couldn't say no too. Personially, I wouldn't buy a Compaq. I don't like their BIOS and my previous dealing with their computers have been unfavorable. Compaq also has the on-line shopping that gateway and Dell have. Hewlett Packard computers. Also called Packard Bells and Packard Hell and many others. When it comes to Hewlett Packard I just don't know what to think. They make such great printers and digital imaging devices and then there computers such piles of crap. Please Do yourself a favor and don't get a Packard Bell. Many people are tempted and do buy Packard Bell's because of their affordability. Sometimes you get what you pay for, and sometimes you don't. You don't with Packard Bell computers.

Tom also has his on-line site in a series of books. These books can be found at you local bookstore. If your a do-it-your-selfer, then you'll want to go to http://www.pricewatch.com . They have listing of just about any component or device you could think of. Alternativly there is http://buycomp.com which claims to have the lowest prices on earth. But there web site doesn't like to work. So good luck trying to use them. They do sell most of their products at or slightly above or below cost! What a great system. more super savings places.
